RAKUGO JAPANESE SIT-DOWN COMEDY

Those of you who have spent time with Japanese people
would have realised that humor is an important part
of their lives.They too have own form of stand-up comedy
though the performers sit-down rather than stand up!
This traditional performing art.the origins of which can
be traced back some 400 years,is called Rakugo.

In order to spread out Rakugo world <GEIKYO Fesutival>
would be held this fall in KADENSHA,SHINJUKU.

There will be introduction to Rakugo by attraktive
English Rkugo by SANSHO-TEI CHARAKU and Paper cutting by
HAYASHIYA IMAMARU!
These performers keen for the internationalization of Rakugo
are preesenting their shows in english.Aftereall,Rakugo
deals with human natur and universal themes which people
can respond to no matter which country they are from.
